Seven would work, if we want to do one every two weeks. There are 14 weeks in summer. Maybe everyone should vote for their top 10, rating them 1-10. Then we can look at what gets the most votes. Who wants to be in charge of tallying votes? I can do it if you want... let me know.

I kind of feel like seven might be too much. I don't want people to feel like they're overloaded with reading and then not like the book club. But you should read all the books you want! I know how much you like to read, lol! I'm thinking that 4 would be a good number, possibly 5. That way people can fit all the other books they want into their summer. I like the voting idea though!
